IESNE October Meeting: Urban & Roadway Lighting

The next meeting of the IESNE is scheduled for Wednesday, October 10, 11:30am to 1:30pm at the State Transportation Building in Boston, MA. The topic will be Urban & Roadway Lighting. During the meeting, Paul Lutkevich, PE, chair of the IESNA Roadway Lighting Committee will speak on recent recommendations made by the committee and where they are going next. Subjects will include:

Why are there no longer average light levels recommended?

Paul Lutkevich is a Professional Associate with Parsons Brinckeroff in Boston. He is chair of the IESNA Roadway Lighting Committee and a member of many IESNA and CIE outdoor lighting committees. He has made numerous presentations on lighting design including to the Electrification Council of the Edison Institute on Fiber Optic and Light Guide Design, and Urban Lighting Design. He is a registered professional engineer in several states and has over 20 years experience in outdoor lighting design.
