IESNE March Meeting: Life Safety Lighting

With the heightened awareness on security and life safety, the details of what makes up emergency lighting systems have become extremely important. Come and learn about common mistakes related to the switching and separation of circuiting for emergency lighting as well as determining where emergency lighting and exit marking are needed. Table-top exhibits of emergency lighting equipment will be on display from manufacturers.

Scheduled Speakers:

Mark Hilbet is a Senior Electrical Inspector for the state of New Hampshire, and NEC seminar instructor for NFPA. He is a contributing editor for CEE News on the NEC as well as consultant to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) providing advisory service for the Electrical Engineering Department.

Kirsten Paoletti is an Associate Fire Protection Technician for NFPA advising on issues related to the Life Safety Code, NFPA 101. She frequently lectures on this topic, and she holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering.

The meeting will take place Tuesday, March 25, at the Radisson Hotel in Cambridge, MA. Registration is at 11:15am, with table-top exhibits at 12 noon, and lunch at 12:45pm.
