Hollywood Is Calling

Hollywood Lights, Inc., announces that Brian Peebles Kameoka has been promoted to Washington sales manager and has relocated to the Seattle office. Portland, OR-based Hollywood Lights has been operating in Seattle since 1994 and is aggressively approaching not just lighting sales in the Emerald City but production and event lighting as well. Hollywood Lights is a leading reseller of theatrical and event lighting in Portland and its objective is to duplicate that leadership in Seattle.

Kameoka, who has been with the company since 1997, has a BA in Theatre from Grinnell College. He has taught numerous lighting workshops at Thespian Conferences in Washington and Oregon. Kameoka is currently an ensemble member of the improv theatre Unexpected Productions in Seattle. Before joining the Hollywood Lights sales team in Oregon, he resided in Seattle where he was assistant production manager for Northwest Asian American Theatre.

Beverly Inglesby, general manager for Hollywood Lights says, "Brian brings his years of lighting knowledge and experience to the Seattle market and there is no doubt in my mind that his focus, dedication, and awesome customer service values will achieve success."

In other news, Robert Tollefson has been promoted to sales coordinator for the customer service team in the Portland headquarters. Tollefson, a graduate of Morehead State University in theatre and music, will serve as a liaison between the Portland and Seattle sales departments. Tollefson is active in the Portland theatre community, as a director-in-residence for Stark Raving Theatre and a freelance set designer.
