GearSource Inc. Announces Key Promotions

Gear-Source Inc. recently announced some changes to their organization that will result in better service for their expanding sales and market segments. Effective immediately, Henry Kones will take on the expanded title of VP of sales and special accounts. This promotion comes on the heels of Henry's first anniversary with the company.

Company president Marcel Fairbairn says, "This is really a natural progression for us. Henry pretty much came in and took over anyway, so we are now making it official." Kones has been closely involved in the company's expansion into video and will also head up the growing audio sector. "Our expansion into these new markets, and our very tight relationships with our largest vendors makes this a very important move for us. The new structure allows me to focus more on the big picture growth of our entire business, plus further web developments. Because of his experience and very strong management and organizational skills, Henry will be perfect in this new role," Fairbairn concludes.

Kones will continue to work from his home office in Orlando, but will spend more time visiting the company's headquarters in Wellington. The company is currently interviewing candidates for two new sales/listing positions, based in either Florida or the West Coast, both reporting directly to Kones.

In other company news, longtime GearSource employee, Cynthia Viteri, has been promoted to senior sales director. Viteri will be taking on additional sales responsibilities including her work on the second GearSource franchise office to open sometime in the second quarter of 2007. Following the tremendous success with GearSource Europe, the company has been working on plans for another office and has pinpointed a location, and possibly a franchisee that will operate that location. Stay tuned for more on that topic.
