All exhibitors at The Entertainment Technology Show-LDI 2004 are invited to nominate their new products for the ETS-LDI2004 product awards. Nomination forms for the awards can be found at http://images.entertainmenttech.info/files/1102/ets04_AwardsNominations.pdf
The 2004 ETS-LDI Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday evening, October 23, at 6:00pm, immediately following the close of the show floor. The event will take place on the stages of ET Live, the outdoor concert and staging section of the show.
The awards judges consider all new products at ETS-LDI, but the nomination forms help the judges to locate and target new products more quickly. There are two different categories for the product awards:
* Product of the Year
* Debuting Product/Promising Prototype
To qualify as a Product of the Year, the product must have been released in the past year and be shipping. If the product was a Debuting Product/Promising Prototype at last year's ETS-LDI, it qualifies to be considered as a Product of the Year this year. If a product is introduced at ETS-LDI for the first time, it can be nominated for a Debuting Product/Promising Prototype. This product may be a concept or prototype as long as there is sufficient documentation showing what it will be. This award will honor originality and daring conceptual leaps. If no prototypes fit the criteria in any one category, the award will not be given.

Rigging and Hardware
Scenic, Staging, and Special Effects
Sound
Widget
ETS-LDI also honors individuals who have done outstanding work over the past year. The award categories include:
Lighting Designer
Sound Designer
Projection Designer
Technician
