For the fifth consecutive year, ETC (Electronic Theatre Controls, Inc.) will be taking a deserving group of graduate students to LDI. Continuing in the company tradition of fostering the lighting talents of the future, ETC will award six graduate students an all-expense-paid trip to the 2004 LDI tradeshow in Las Vegas, NV, October 22-24, 2004
Among the whirlwind of activities, winners will have the chance to see the latest developments in the industry, network with prominent industry contacts, meet talented peers, and be inspired by the amazing world of lighting. ETC’s LDI Sponsorships include round-trip airfare to Las Vegas, hotel, all meals, a full conference pass, an exclusive student reception, and a lot of great ETC swag.
Sponsorships are open to graduate students in lighting design, theater technology, or closely related fields. Applications are available at the USITT tradeshow, at the ETC booth, #140, in Long Beach, CA (March 18-20) or can be downloaded from the ETC Web site at www.etcconnect.com.
The sponsorship application deadline is May 7, 2004.
