Encapsulite’s T5 fluorescent Stick-Lites are now playing a major role in the Equation designed lighting scheme for MetQuarter, Liverpool’s newest shopping development. In excess of 400 fittings of varying lengths have been incorporated into three prominently located lighting features, helping to provide soft, diffused illumination throughout major areas of the central piazza.
T5 Stick-Lites free the fluorescent lamp from a conventional batten fitting and with a diameter of only 26mm across the end caps provide ideal solutions where space is restricted. The fitting comes with 1m of cable allowing the high frequency ballast to be located away from principle areas of illumination and is available from 8W – 35W. Any color from the extensive EncapSulite range of colored sleeves can be supplied, including those from the ‘fade free’ deep dyed polycarbonate selection. Side or end cable entry, Black or White end caps, dimmable ballasts and some options in waterproof versions are all offered.
Recent new product developments from EncapSulite include the HFI T5 Stick-Lite that brings together in one unit the latest in miniature electronics and the sleekness of a T5 lamp, providing a fitting that can be mounted any way up and simply plugged into a 230v power outlet via the 3m plug and cable supplied. Standard (indoor) and waterproof IP64 versions are available, both with a suspension hook and choice of open clip or more secure clamp for mounting. Again, as with the T5 Stick-Lite installed at MetQuarter, there are a choice of lamp colors and numerous sleeve options. A number of other highly innovative products are also now available, all utilising the latest T5 fluorescent lamp technology and developed from the Stick-Lite concept.
