MBT International announced the appointment of Jason Echols as the new general manager of the MBT International Asia/Pacific office. Echols brings vast international experience working with music retailers, distributors, and Asia/Pacific factories for the development and production of musical products and OEM services. He has lived in Taiwan, China and Singapore for the past ten years.
“Jason’s fluency in Chinese and his factory relationships will be a great asset in maintaining and strengthening MBT’s current manufacturer alliances," says Dan Mahoney, MBT International CEO. "We are very pleased to have him as our general manager and see great potential for growth through his extensive experience and product knowledge.”
As general manager, Echols will be responsible for sourcing all proprietary products for MBT International and existing international customers, in addition to developing new international business. Jason’s sourcing experiences include positions with many well-known companies such as Stanton, Cerwin-Vega, American Dj, and Antari.
