Don Holder Speaks at First Big Apple Institute of Season

will present the first Big Apple Institute of the 2002-2003 season on Saturday, October 5, at the Marriott Marquis Theatre on Times Square, beginning at 10am.

In this program, Don Holder on Designing with Color, Tony Award-winning (The Lion King) lighting designer Don Holder will share his point of view and thought process on color and light in the theatre. During the discussion he will use his lighting design for the Broadway musical Thoroughly Modern Millie to demonstrate his approach and technique.

Big Apple Institute is dedicated to providing educational opportunities in the field of entertainment design, offering programs and technical training sessions on various aspects of design to professional designers, students, and others. Its goal is to support the continuing growth of members of the entertainment design community, and to improve the public's understanding and appreciation of entertainment design.
