DLF and IESNY Sponsor Control Program at Cooper Union

The Designer’s Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) and Illuminating Engineering Society, New York Section (IESNY) are jointly producing a program, co-sponsored by Cooper Union College, on Lighting Control Systems on Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at 5:30PM. The location is the Wollman Auditorium, in the Engineering Building on the Cooper Union campus; 51 Astor Place at Third Avenue in Manhattan, NY. This program is aimed towards architects, lighting designers, interior designers, facility managers, contractors, and is open to the public.

The program will feature a panel discussion with lighting designers Emily Monato of Cooley Monato Design; and Michael Hennes of Cline, Bettridge, Bernstein Design; noted electronic architect/system integrator Michael Curtin of Advanced Electric Design; and the lighting control system specialist, Todd Rosencrans of Jet Pak Electric Inc., as panel moderator. The panel will discuss the implementation of lighting control system technologies for commercial, hospitality, and residential lighting applications.

Over 15 manufacturers of lighting control systems will have interactive displays providing attendees with demonstrations, information, and specification information on their products. The special displays and manufacturer tables will be available for viewing before the panel discussion and after. Refreshments will be served.

Designers Lighting Forum and Illuminating Engineering Society of North America members are admitted free. All College level students are admitted free. Non-members are welcome at $10.00 per person.

The program counts as two AIA/CES HSW learning units.
