DeLoria and Case Join Digidesign

Digidesign welcomes Ken DeLoria as worldwide director of live sound sales and Mike Case as European live sound sales manager.

Together, they will introduce Digidesign’s new VENUE live sound product line to the world. VENUE is a modular live sound reinforcement mixing and processing environment offering the quality and functionality of high-end live sound mixing systems at an affordable price.

DeLoria brings nearly 30 years of experience to Digidesign's entry into the live sound market. He will be responsible for putting together a global sales team, setting up world-wide distribution, and helping to guide marketing in the development of materials and programs. DeLoria founded and sold Apogee Sound Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of loudspeakers and amplifiers. His previous experience also includes eight years at McCune Sound providing touring systems and sound for major events. He pioneered the first high-fidelity, concert-style sound system for the NFL, providing systems for Super Bowls XVII and XIX. Later, he developed speaker and electronic systems for McCune's rental and installation departments. DeLoria also developed CORREQT, an advanced method of sound system alignment. He provided CORREQT for seven Grammy Awards, six Academy Awards, two Democratic National Conventions, and a host of other events and permanent installations.

Case will manage the sales of Digidesign’s live sound products across Europe, and joins Digidesign from Yamaha Commercial Audio. He has extensive experience in live sound having worked for UK rental companies and manufacturers, including Amek where he was part of the team responsible for the Recall and 501 live consoles. Case has been a major player in transitioning the United Kingdom’s live sound market into the digital age, and with that he brings a high level of knowledge and experience relevant to this part of the market.

DeLoria is based in Daly City, California, and Case is based in Pinewood in the United Kingdom.
