Cowie, Weatherly, Wierzel, Granger Win Connecticut Critics Circle Awards

The Connecticut Critics Circle Awards, honoring theatre in that state, were announced, with the Long Wharf Theatre production of Wintertime winning in two of four categories: Lighting designer Robert Wierzel and costume designer Christal Weatherly. Jeff Cowie took the set design award for the Hartford Stage revival of The Night of the Iguana and sound designer Christopher A. Granger won for the Stamford Theatre Works production of A Kiss Before Dying.
