Lake Technology Corporation, the US subsidiary of Lake Technology Ltd. of Australia, a developer of digital signal processing systems used in audio applications, has appointed Michael A. Colon as US Eastern regional sales manager. Colon will be located on the East Coast.
Colon has over 12 years experience in the live sound touring and installation industry and joins Lake Technology from Crest Audio, where he was Western regional sales manager. Colon brought to fruition a number of high-profile sound reinforcement installations for Crest in the region, including the convention center at the Mandalay Bay Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas and the Hollywood Palace concert venue in Hollywood, CA.
"Michael has held several key positions in pro audio that will give him an excellent foundation for his duties at Lake," says Michael MacDonald, who recently signed-on with Lake Technology as a marketing consultant for the company's innovative DSP-based Lake Contour loudspeaker control system and was previously president of JBL. "I am pleased that Michael has come on board and look forward to great results."
