Christie Announces New LU77 LCD Projector With True UXGA Resolution

Christie, a leading provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, recently introduced the new Christie LU77 - a quad lamp, high power LCD projector delivering true UXGA resolution (1600x1200) with brightness of up to 7700 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. Using a quad lamp design, the Christie LU77 is the brightest native UXGA projector available on the market today. For larger-than-life images where every pixel on-screen counts, the Christie LU77 is perfectly suited for high-end applications found in training facilities, simulation, data modeling and command centers.

The Christie LU77 can use any of the eleven optional lenses for installation into a wide range of applications. The projector's horizontal and vertical lens offset allows users to place images anywhere from almost any angle. Available digital and analog input options including HD-SDI make the Christie LU77 the most flexible high-resolution visual solution on the market today.

The Christie LU77 can be networked with optional ChristieNET - Christie's proprietary networking solution used to monitor and control any projectors and other devices over a TCP/IP network from anywhere in the world.

"Simply put, the Christie LU77 offers the widest array of features and the brightest image in its class, providing endless application possibilities," said Neil Wittering, senior product manager, Fixed Installs, Christie. "It continues the Christie tradition of delivering high quality, reliability, performance and power to meet the most demanding needs."
