Creative Entertainment Connections, LLC, announced its launch of a unique talent management company. What sets CEC apart is their representation of cinematographers, production designers, and makeup artists, as well as the technology for the production to complement the crew. Laura Siegel, president and founder, is excited by the synergism that will emerge by representing the technological tools and the talent who will use them. Formerly of Panavision, New York, Laura brings over eighteen years of hands-on experience in the entertainment business to package production services under one roof.
“Not only can CEC provide the image maker, they can offer support for the technology to create the image as well,” Says Franz Wieser, vice president of international marketing for ARRI. “I believe that her concept will suit existing and future clients extremely well.”

The idea behind Siegel’s concept of CEC was created at the request of several DP’s as they asked her to represent them as an agent while at Panavision. With the opportunity to rep several technology companies in the industry as well as the DPs and other talent, the union was created. Prior to working at Panavision, Laura helped to facilitate the growth and expansion of Bulbtronics Entertainment Lighting Division.
“I am excited about the future of CEC as we work towards expanding our roster of cinematographers, production designers, and makeup artists,” says Siegel. “We are currently working with a European production company by supplying the DP, Steadicam Operator and Camera Operator as well as the camera and lighting package. “With the quality network of companies that CEC represents and the talent pool, we can package the client’s production needs and services by one stop sourcing.” The strategic alliances that we form will afford us the opportunity to maximize our production services to the industry.
