Cadac Adds East, West Coast Reps In US

Cadac Electronics has appointed two new representatives in the US, tapping audio vet Thomas Bensen to handle the East Coast and GLS Marketing to handle the West Coast territories.

Bensen is a familiar face in the pro audio industry, with over 25 years' experience across a wide variety of leading brands. Commenting on the opportunities he sees for Cadac, he says: “The future certainly looks promising for Cadac. I am very fortunate to be part of their team in the US and feel that the combination of our mutual experience and relationships will provide a strong basis for growth and success. The new S-Type has already generated tremendous interest. Along with the innovative R-Type, I believe we will be able to bring Cadac to places and customers, who would have only otherwise dreamed of owning one."

On the other side of the US, GLS Marketing provides the Cadac representative network with a strong mix of technical skills, plus creative sales and marketing techniques. Headed up by president Greg Hockman, with Ron Thomas as general manager, the company was established in 1981 and operates out of Huntington Beach, CA, in support of Southern California, Southern Nevada, Hawaii, and Arizona territories. Greg commented on adding the Cadac marque to GLS Marketing's line-up: “We are pleased to join the Cadac family and bring customer service and support to the Western US. In addition to their traditional markets, we are excited that with the Cadac S-Type compact live console, the product line-up now offers legendary Cadac performance to all of our clients who value excellent audio, rugged reliability and serviceability at an economical price.”
