Brian MacDevitt Nominated for NAACP Theatre Award

The just-closed Broadway revival of Into the Woods has earned LD Brian MacDevitt a nomination for an NAACP Theatre Award. The nomination is one of ten given to the production. The others include Best Produced Play (Dodger Theatricals, Stage Holding, and TheatreDreams), Best Director--Musical (James Lapine), Best Music Director (Paul Gemignani ), Best Set Design (Douglas Schmidt), Best Performance--Female (Vanessa Williams), Best Supporting Performance--Male (Trent Armand Kendall), Best Sound (Dan Moses Schreier), Best Costumes (Susan Hilferty), and Best Choreography (John Carrafa).

The awards will be presented on Monday, January 27th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
