Big Apple Institute Returns 9/15; Topic is Networking

The Big Apple Institute, the invaluable series of seminars sponosred by New York-based Big Apple Lights, returns on September 15th, asking the question: How do freelancers find jobs?

One answer is by building a peer network. The Big Apple Institute will address this issue, hosting a panel that includes Broadway/Off Broadway/regional theatre lighting designer Kirk Bookman and artistic director/theatre manager Robert Lyon, with more names to be announced.

And here's a chance to practice what you learn: the panel will be followed by a wine and cheese reception, giving everyone a chance to make connections.

The event will take place on the 15th at 7pm, at the Flea Theatre, 41 White Street, which is located three blocks south of Canal Street, between Broadway and Church. Admission is $10.
