Bandit Lites UK Announces Two New Hires

Bandit Lites UK is pleased to announce the recent additions of Mick Freer as business development manager and Ben Martin as generic technician.

Freer will work directly in the development and implementation of company policies and the “Bandit Standard.” His duties include bringing in new business and maintaining old clients. Freer will also oversee all account executives and make sure they perform at the top level.

Most recently a freelance lighting technician, Freer joins Bandit Lites after 17 years on the road. A Leicester native, he has had a diverse and long career in the theatre and music industry. He comments, “I am looking forward to the challenge that this role brings and being part of this strong and energetic team here at Bandit Lites.”

As a generic technician, Ben Martin will be responsible for overseeing condition, certification, and safety of all generic equipment. “I am very glad to be on board with the guys at Bandit Lites and looking forward to the year ahead in the generic department,” Martin adds.

Before joining Bandit, Martin worked for a Brilliant Stages for seven years. Prior to that, he was a freelance lighting technician.
