Bandit Lites Takes Jimmy Buffett to the Far Side

Jimmy Buffett

and his Coral Reefer Band are once again taking their high-energy sing-a-long extravaganza on the road, in support of the new album titled Far Side of the World, with a look and feel of the African savannah, complete with giant baobab tree.

Longtime lighting designer Sid Strong once again called on Bandit Lites to supply the lighting system. Strong decided on a Martin moving-light package that illuminates the audience as much as the band, with MAC 2000s and 500s for gobo projections and 600s for cyc washing as well as for the audience. The tour is set to play amphitheatres across the US all summer long.
