Bandit Lites Announces Purchase of New Nashville Facility

In an effort to better serve the growing market, Bandit Lites has purchased additional facilities in Nashville, TN. Bandit CEO Michael Strickland states, "In order to meet our clients' expectations of the Bandit Standard, we needed an additional facility. With this space we will be able to quadruple our output in Nashville." Bandit will look to this facility to help meet the demands of its growing client roster and its continued global expansion.

While the current property will continue to serve as the main base of operations, the new warehouse will serve as an overflow storage facility and a suitable space for preparing multiple shows while allowing for expansion. Bandit’s Nashville-based vice president, Michael Golden, explains, "Our plan will involve a fully staffed facility to build and prep systems while our current facility will become more of an administration and pre-rehearsal programming facility. It is our goal and intention to make the hanging facility a comfortable place where artists can come to see their show being programmed and to add input without any distraction."

The new building is located directly behind the current property and features over 140,000 sq. ft. (12,600 sq. m) of space to work with and a 40'-high (12m) ceiling. This warehouse features both front and back office space and is completely wired for computer network compatibility. With 22 loading docks and parking for 150 vehicles, Bandit will be able to expedite the process of dropping off and loading gear for multiple tours simultaneously. Golden states, "With the acquisition of our newest property in Nashville we will now be able to offer the largest inventory of lighting under one roof anywhere in America."
