Lighting director AJ Pen has paired with Bandit Lites for the current Linkin Park tour, in support of the multi-platinum album Meteora, which will include major legs in North America and Europe. The Grammy-winning band's musical style ranges from hard rock to hip hop. "The challenge with the lighting is to have it match the energy of the music, which A.J. has totally nailed," said Dizzy Gosnell of Bandit Lites San Francisco.
Gear Bandit is supplying includes 25 Martin Professional MAC 2000s, 25 MAC 600s, five MAC 500s, 17 MAC 300s, 24 four-way set lights, 15 eight-light color scrollers, and seven PAR-64 color scrollers. Crew includes production manager Jim Digby and technicians Jeff Archibeque, Todd Erickson, and Jeff Wilkin.
