Four people with extensive experience in show control, theatre and media have formed a new company, Aura Show Control Ltd (ASC), based in London, with dozens of world wide associates. ASC's mandate is to bring the high degree of creativity that show control provides to all sorts of shows, presentations, and displays. ASC's associates have expertise in every related discipline – lights, sound, video, and automation and can provide a complete package along with the overall features of show control.
ASC will display its capabilities and introduce its show control concepts to the themed entertainment industry at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) trade show in Orlando. Three ASC directors, John Leonard (from the UK), Scott George (from Australia), and Charlie Richmond (from Canada) will be in attendance from November 19-22, 2003, at the Orange County Convention Center. IAAPA overlaps with LDI this year, which runs November 21-23, also at the Orange County Convention Center.
