BREA, Calif.---ALTINEX, Inc. announced the release of the MT102-201, a new 20-slot enclosure developed to house MultiTasker AV component cards. With the current line of 4, 8 and 19 slot enclosures, the additional enclosure makes the MultiTasker more versatile, easier to use and allows even tighter integration of AV components while saving 50 percent rack space on a large number of system configurations.
The MT102-201 can accommodate up to 20 different application cards. The MT102-201 is suited for a 16x16 RGBHV matrix switcher in a single 4U-high enclosure. The MT102-201 has a host of additional features, for ease of control and interface to external equipment. Key features include 36 programmable control keys, USB port for easy connection to a computer, two RS-232 connectors, and loop ports to daisy chain multiple units together.
The latest release of the MTSetup software to configure, program and control the MultiTasker includes all of the additional features of the 20-slot unit.
The MultiTasker is a modular system used to design, configure and build signal management solutions. The flexibility of the MultiTasker allows the switching, distributing, amplifying, converting, connecting and controlling of video, audio and control signals in one comprehensive rack-based system.
