Alec Stoll Joins FDA

has announced the addition of theatre consultant Alec Stoll to its consulting team.

With 15 years of experience as a lighting designer, technical director, and stage manager and three years as a professional theatre consultant, Stoll has experience with every shape and size performance venue. Additionally, he has worked in professional, educational, and community theatre and in television.

Prior to joining FDA, Stoll was a theatre consultant with another nationally recognized theatre design firm, designing academic and professional theatres nationwide. Previously, he taught theatre at St. Norbert College in Green Bay, WI and was Adjunct Professor of Theatre at Pace University's department of Theater and Fine Arts in NYC.

Stoll has worked with Boston Lyric Opera, The Berkshire Opera, Martha Graham Dance Company, and Mark Morris Dance Company (among others) and served as the technical director for national productions of the musicals Nunsense, Nunsense II and Nunsense A-men.

In 1996, Stoll graduated Brandeis University with an MFA in Theater Production Management and has a BFA in Technical Theatre from Emerson College.

Alec is presently working on the Performing Arts Center of Greater Miami; South Dade Cultural Center; Florida Memorial College; the Gusman Theatre in Miami, and Goodlet Auditorium.
