Breckenridge, Texas, December 16, 2014 – After a remodeling of the auditorium in the New Life Restoration Church in Breckenridge, Texas, worship leader Van Moore and his colleagues needed a projector upgrade. They found the solution in the Hitachi CP-WX8255A projector. With its high brightness and widescreen capabilities, the CP-WX8255A met all of the needs for the intimate gatherings of the 100-member church.
“We remodeled our auditorium and it had too much ceiling can lighting on the stage,” explained Mr. Moore. “We upgraded our older projector to the brighter Hitachi CP-WX8255A projector that was also native to widescreen. It was just what we needed for our services.”
Finding a projector that had clear and crisp picture in a room that had large amounts of light was difficult. “We worked with ccisolutions.com and rep Dieter Gilkey recommended this specific model based on our needs and lighting requirements,” stated Mr. Moore. “We also received a free additional bulb.”
The projector is in place for many different uses in the auditorium. “We use the projector to display lyrics to songs, videos, sermon notes, Bible verses, and more,” explained Mr. Moore. “As the main projector behind the worship team, it is projected onto a 140-inch diagonal screen for all people to see clearly. We have a very clear picture and no color wash out even when all the lights are on full power.”
Another factor in finding the perfect projector for the auditorium was ease of use. “We like that we can use a remote control from the back of the auditorium to control off/on and menu options, even over 100 feet away,” stated Mr. Moore.
“Lyrics were always viewed well as we dim the lights, but during the times when we weren’t worshipping, the colors were always washed out,” explained Mr. Moore when talking about how the CP-WX8255A has helped better their church services. The Hitachi has much richer color and a much clearer picture in any lighting situation.”
Mr. Moore was not the only one who appreciated the upgrade. “We have had comments from the church community about how much better the color looks! We are very happy with our Hitachi projector.”
