New 2D & 3D CAD symbols now available for VARI-LITE luminaires

Philips Vari-Lite is proud to announce the release of new 2D and 3D CAD symbols for all current VARI-LITE luminaires.  Created to simplify the design process for lighting designers worldwide, the new symbols are compatible with most CAD software including Vectorworks and Autocad, and are now available as a free download from the Philips Vari-Lite website.

“Wanting to provide our customers with the ideal tools they need to create powerful light plots with VARI-LITE luminaires, we are excited to offer the new 2D and 3D CAD symbols for all current fixtures,” said Brad Schiller, Philips Vari-Lite Product Marketing Manager.  “CAD users worldwide will find the new symbols extremely useful as the 2D versions provide accurate fixture sizing and fixture movement range details, while the 3D symbols are simplified to reduce rendering time, yet detailed enough to provide realistic images that can be used in just about any mock-up or photo-realistic rendering.”

Available for all current VARI-LITE luminaires and in both floor-mounted and truss-mounted configurations, the free 2D and 3D CAD symbols download can be found on the Product Downloads page at www.vari-lite.com, or by clicking here.
