William Cusick is a video artist, projection designer, and filmmaker living in New York City. His designs for theater, opera, and dance have been seen across the US, Canada, and Europe. Cusick is a current recipient of the NEA/TCG Career Development Program. His work includes video for productions by the theatre company, Temporary Distortion (Welcome to Nowhere; Americana Kamikaze), and he designed the projections for The Coast of Utopia at Lincoln Center Theatre in 2007, Arjuna’s Dilemma in BAM’s Next Wave Festival in 2008, as well as Der Schuh Des Manitu in collaboration with David Gallo in Berlin, also in 2008.
