Neil Austin is an award-winning lighting designer, who received the 2011 Laurence Olivier Award for The White Guard at the National Theatre, London and the 2010 Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for Red at the Golden Theatre, Broadway.
His Broadway credits include Evita (Marquis), Red (Golden), Hamlet (Broadhurst), The Seafarer (Booth), and Frost Nixon (Jacobs). Other US credits include Parade (Taper Forum, Los Angeles), Frost Nixon (US National Tour), Donmar Warehouse production of King Lear with Derek Jacobi (BAM), Royal Shakespeare Company production of King Lear & The Seagull with Ian McKellen (BAM, Minneapolis & Los Angeles)
UK credits include extensive shows at the National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, RSC, Royal Opera House, and the Almeida Theatres lighting plays, musicals, opera, and dance.
