9:45-11:15am: David Gallo on Design: Designer David Gallo discusses his integrated approach to scenic and projection design, with a look at his methods for incorporating projections into new musicals and plays.
11:15-11:30am: break
11:30am-1:00pm: Case Study/Memphis: Scenic/projection designer David Gallo and co-projection designer Shawn Sagady provide an in-depth look at the overall scenic and image design for the Broadway musical, Memphis, including content creation, projection systems integration and motion control for the images using a coolux Pandoras Box media server with Steve Gilbard, president, coolux International.
1:00-2:000pm: Lunch
2:00-3:30pm: Technology Round-Up: What’s the cutting-edge in projection technology, from projectors to screens and media servers. Join leading companies such as Green Hippo/TMB and MA Lighting/Video for a look at what’s new on the market.
3:30-3:45: Break
3:45-5:15: The Next Generation: what does the future hold? Join the next wave with projection pros William Cusick (Temporary Distortion), Jeffrey Cady (SenovvA/American Idiot), and Loren Barton (product specialist, TMB) and projection designer Darrel Maloney for a look into the crystal ball for projection design and technology.
5:15-5:30: Wrap-up
6pm: Cocktail party and Live Design Lighting and Projection Products of the Year, Excellence Awards, and Wally Russell Award presentations
