Production designer extraordinaire, Bruce Rodgers of Tribe Inc featured at the PMC@LDI and in the LDInnovation & Technology Conference at LDI2012 in Las Vegas, October 15-17.
First up for Rodgers is Projection Case Study I: The 2012 Super Bowl Halftime Show, at the Live Design Projection Master Classes on Wednesday afternoon, October 17:
Projection Mapping the Super Bowl Halftime Show: If there was anyone who hadn't seen large-scale production mapping before, certainly everyone had a taste of what it can do after the Super Bowl Halftime show. Eye-popping, visually transforming imagery and all presented in the very difficult circumstances of entertainment’s fastest changeover and set up. Bruce Rodgers takes us through the details of this exciting project, with Sakchin Bessette of Moment Factory and lighting designer Al Gurdon.
Then on Friday, October 19, Rodgers kicks off the Production Techniques sessions in the LDInnovation & Technology Conference with Production Design A-To-Z:
Meet Bruce Rodgers, principal designer of Tribe Inc, and creator of some of the biggest, baddest production designs ever, from Super Bowl Halftime shows to rock and roll tours for the likes of Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kanye West, and Madonna, by way of national political conventions and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
