BLMC Spotlight: Vivien Leone

Paperwork may seem like the least glamorous part of the LD’s job, but it is arguably one of the most important. Vivien Leone, who has spent many years lending her creative eye to an impressive roster of productions both as lighting designer and as an associate LD, will lead a step-by-step discussion of the personnel and process involved in creating a Broadway show as seen through the accompanying paperwork in her Broadway Lighting Master Classes session, “Paperwork: It Is Not Just Paper.”

“Emphasis will not be placed on creating and filling out forms, but rather on the who, what, when, where, and how a lighting design goes from the designer's vision to opening night,” Leone notes.

Examples of the most efficient way lighting professionals can create paperwork for all phases of a production will be provided.
