WHO'S DOING WHAT

A Catered Affair written by Harvey Fierstein with music by John Bucchino and directed by John Doyle will open at Old Globe in San Diego this fall and move to Broadway next spring. The artistic team includes designs by David Gallo (sets), Ann Hould-Ward (costumes), Brian MacDevitt (lights), Dan Moses Schreier (sound), and Zachary Borovay (projections).

Borovay is also designing projections for Radio City Music Hall's 75th Christmas Spectacular, directed and choreographed by Linda Haberman, with Patrick Fahey (sets), David Agress (lights), Batwin + Robin Productions (video), Madoff Productions (film), Dan Gerhard (sound), and Frank Krenz (costumes).

The entire team at Design Partners Inc had a busy summer. Kim Killingsworth designed virtually all Nickelodeon interstitial programming and live specials including TEENick programming. Greg Brunton recently returned from NYC where he completed work with the Children's Television Workshop on an Elmo holiday special. He will again be lighting the NFL Kick-off this fall, as well as CMT's next Giants special, honoring Hank Williams, Jr. Kirk Witherspoon lights all of Fox's programming including Best Damn Sports Show Period, the LA national sports desk, and most recently, he designed/installed the new Fox Big10 Chicago studio. Marisa Davis, working during the Ellen off-season, has worked with Spanish language television on various projects including El Show de Don Cheto and Alarma TV. Olin Younger has resumed work on Big Brother 8. The house went through an extensive redesign that airs weekly. Lee Rose worked with BET on the controversial Hot Ghetto Mess with Charlie Murphy. Rose is also lighting this year's Jerry Lewis Labor Day MDA Telethon live from Las Vegas.

Barbara-Blumenthal-Ehrlich's Double Vision made its New York premiere last month at the Linhart Theatre as part of the 11th Annual New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC 2007), with set and costume design by Michael Wilson Morgan, lighting by Antoinette Stokes, and sound design by Ben Morss.

Masked a play by Ilan Hastor, also premiered last month at the DR2 Theatre in New York, with scenic design by Wilson Chin and Aleksandra Maslik, costume design by Jennifer Caprio, and lighting design by Thom Weaver.

The Little Shubert Theatre in New York will host the opening of Three Mo' Tenors this month, a musical event conceived, directed, and choreographed by Marion J. Caffey, with sets by Mike Carnahan, lighting by Richard Winkler, sound by Domonic Sack, and costumes by Gail Cooper-Hect.

Several Walt Disney entertainment managers transitioned into new roles in August, including Chris Ambrose, who assumed the role of general manager, Entertainment Operations, supporting Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park and Resorts; David Deloach who was promoted to general manager, Entertainment Operations, at the Magic Kingdom® Park; Jack Feivou, promoted to general manager, Entertainment Operations at Disney-MGM Studios; and Melissa Valiquette, promoted to general manager, Entertainment Operations, supporting Epcot®, the Downtown Disney® area, Disney's Wide World of Sports® and Disney's BoardWalk Resort.
