Sonny Sonnenfeld is rejoining Strand Lighting after a 20-year absence, as commercial consultant and New York representative, serving the consultant, Broadway, and dealer community. Sonnenfeld joined Century Lighting (now Strand) in 1945, after serving in WWII in the South Pacific. In 1961, he co-founded Lighting & Electronics, rejoining what had then become Strand Century between 1975-85. A C Lighting Inc. has appointed Fred Mikeska as US sales and marketing manager, responsible for all product lines sold exclusively in the US as well as general distribution products. Mikeska has formerly held senior management positions with Creative Stage Lighting and Leprecon and is currently a director of the Entertainment Services and Technology Association (ESTA). Anolis Lighting is a new manufacturing and sales company established to design, manufacture, and distribute a high-end range of LED products worldwide. Robe Show Lighting has established a new company in Singapore, Robe (SEA), which will operate as a sales and support office to integrate and coordinate business in Southeast Asia.
