College Point, NY-based W.A.C. Lighting has added a new research and development director to its staff and established a website. Stan Katz, who has over 15 years' experience as an industrial designer, engineering manager, and R&D manager, has been named W.A.C.'s director of R&D/engineering. Katz will develop track and recessed lighting designs, plus under-cabinet lighting, surface mounts, pendants, and rope lighting for the company, and continue its miniaturization of recessed trims and track heads. He will also create new lines of complete lighting systems for W.A.C.
