Advanced Lighting Technologies Inc. (ADLT) and Rohm and Haas have formed the joint-venture company Unison Fiber Optic Lighting Systems, which will develop complete fiber-optic lighting systems for the commercial market. The company is based in Solon, OH.
The firm will incorporate OptiFlex fiber developed by Rohm and Haas, and ADLT's metal-halide illuminators and fiber, into lighting systems for retail displays (including Christmas trees for stores), entertainment, and other purposes. The company's president is Millicent Pitts.
