Strand Lighting's bicoastal changes

Strand Lighting has made some changes in its New York City and Los Angeles operations. In mid-July, the company traded in its old Manhattan digs for a 3,000-sq.-ft. (914-sq.-m) office which houses a demonstration, service, and test facility. The office is being run by Strand's vice president, Peter Rogers, who has relocated from Los Angeles. Rogers is joined by Steve Gambino (sales manager), John Gebbe (service and technical support), Marshall Spiller (administration), and an expanded service staff.

The new office is located at 151 West 25th Street, 2nd floor, New York, NY 10001; phone: 212/242-1042, fax: 212/242-1837.

In Los Angeles, a dedicated project group led by vice president Tom Folsom is handling project sales, project management, quotations, engineering, manufacturing, and operations. The new group includes national themed sales manager Randy Pybas, international sales manager Sergio Alvarado, and architectural systems specialist Bill Sims. Meanwhile, vice president Keith Gillum is leading a dealer sales/customer services group, which is handling box goods sales, customer service, engineering services, rental, and parts sales. This group includes dealer sales manager Bernie Kret. And vice president Tom Crapson is spearheading the finance group, including MIS.

Back on the East Coast, Strand has authorized a service center for the Eastern US, based in the Greater New York area. Run by Joel Epstein and Sal Maratta, the service center is located at 18-02 River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410; phone: 201/791-7001, fax: 201/791-3167.
