Sewell To Exit Pulsar

Big changes are afoot at Pulsar, the Cambridge, UK-based lighting control manufacturer. The company will undergo changes to its ownership and management in May, when co-founder Paul Mardon will purchase fellow co-founder Ken Sewell's shareholding. Sewell, who served as the company's financial director since its inception in 1970, is staying on during the transition period until a replacement can be found.

Sewell is moving on to start Realnet Ltd., an Internet and computer consulting company. Its first customer will be Pulsar, which has hired the company to handle support services for Pulsar's software system.

"I believe this resolution will enable Pulsar to move on to new heights and new successes both with the Pulsar product range and the work we do together with Clay Paky," says Mardon.
