NSCA supports LDI99 in educational co-ventures

When LDI99 opens its doors at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando in November, the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) will be among the sponsors of the educational programming at North America's largest trade show and conference for entertainment design and technology.

Technical training at LDI99 begins on November 15, with the second annual LDInstitute, which includes NSCA's highly successful Technical Fundamentals of Audio course, developed and taught by Ted Uzzle. Says Chuck Wilson, the organization's executive director, "By supporting the efforts of LDI, we can offer our members a wider range of professional training in the entertainment arena and access to a very exciting range of technology on the show floor."

NSCA first presented its Technical Fundamentals of Audio Course at LDI98 in Phoenix, and subsequently developed a special Spanish-language version for the launch of ExpoLatina in Miami in May. "We are very excited about this educational partnership and about NSCA's sponsorship of workshops at LDI99," says Jacqueline Tien, publisher of Lighting Dimensions and Entertainment Design, the leading sponsors of the show. "We hope that the relationship between LDI and NSCA will continue to grow in future years with cooperative efforts at their show as well as ours."

LDI99 is sponsored by Lighting Dimensions, Entertainment Design, and Sound & Video Contractor magazines as well as ESTA (Entertainment Services and Technology Association) and additional Intertec publications including Mix, Millimeter, Video Systems, Broadcast Engineering, World Broadcast News, Electronic Musician, and Shopping Center World. LDI99 is produced by Intertec Exhibitions, a division of Intertec Publishing.
