Florham Park, NJ-based Blackman Design Associates has launched its Integrated Product Engineering (IPE) division. IPE provides complete development and engineering services specifically for lighting manufacturers.
IPE says it offers new and creative solutions for lighting product development. Complementing a company's existing engineering staff, IPE handles overflow work, assists with tight deadlines, and manages special projects for a quicker and more efficient introduction of the product onto the market. IPE has worked with companies including 3M, Thomas Industries, Lightolier, Simkar, Lithonia, Progress Lighting, and Hadco.
