Paul Twist, a native Briton and a figure well-known to many in the industry, died recently in the US. He had been in a coma since late December.
Twist had been working as a freelance sales rep for Meteor Lighting in Huntsville, AL. He originally worked at Meteor 1981-89, then became an independent sales rep in California for a while before being rehired by Meteor. “We kept him on the road for literally two years,” says Mike Burnett of Meteor, who knew Twist for over 20 years. “That was Paul — he wasn't an office person, he loved being out on the road, he lived for sales. He'll be really missed by everyone.”
