Mackie Names Loyko VP Worldwide Sales

Mackie Designs Inc. has promoted Frank Loyko to senior vice president of worldwide sales. With this announcement, Paul Rice steps down as Mackie's senior vice president of international sales and business development. Loyko will assume global responsibility for sales initiatives across all Mackie Designs Inc. brands, while Mackie's marketing group takes over business development initiatives.

“This is the next step in the restructuring plans that Mackie put into motion last November,” comments Rice. “We have set the stage for success and I'm confident in the new senior management team's ability to build upon the strong foundation that I have helped to establish over the last year.”

“Paul has made considerable contributions to Mackie over the last year and we wish him well as he moves on to new challenges,” says Mackie's CEO Jamie Engen.

“I have done what I came to do,” continued Rice. “When I joined Mackie in late 2001, I was asked to help establish a series of key strategic partnerships as well as expand the company's sales presence in international markets. Today, Mackie has strong relationships with all of the industry's leading DAW manufacturers as well as a prosperous affiliation with Universal Audio. Mackie has also established much stronger sales resources around the world including dedicated sales offices in Asia.”

Loyko, who was most recently Mackie's senior vice president of US sales, is ready to tackle these new challenges. “Paul has established a rock-solid foundation on which to build a world-class sales organization. In the coming months, I will deploy to the international sales organization the same framework of accountability and process that has already begun producing domestically.”
