Life as a cabaret

Cabaret is back on Broadway in a bold, no-holds-barred production that won this year's Tony Award for Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the Drama Desk Award as well. Directed by Sam Mendes for the Roundabout Theatre, this is not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill rehash. It takes place in the old Henry Miller's Theatre (on 43rd Street near Times Square), which has been renamed the Kit Kat Klub and redesigned as the eponymous club that is the setting for many of the musical numbers in the show
