Austin, TX-based lighting manufacturer High End Systems, Inc. and UK-based control console manufacturer Flying Pig Systems Ltd. recently completed the merger announced earlier in the year. Flying Pig will continue to operate as an independent business and remain focused on manufacturing control consoles. The Wholehog II will continue to be available to users through existing channels and from select High End dealers. Technical support and training will be handled by Flying Pig.
Nils Thorjussen of Flying Pig has relocated to Austin to coordinate efforts between the two companies. David Caterall has joined Nick Archdale, Tom Thorne, and the rest of Flying Pig's staff in London to manage Flying Pig's marketing and sales efforts.
Nils Thorjussen notes, "We are very excited to be joining forces with the High End Systems team, and believe that the combined resources of Flying Pig and High End will greatly benefit users of both company's products."
Mike Wood, High End Systems' vice president of engineering, adds, "The development staff of both companies share design philosophies. The combination of talents will enable both companies to accomplish what we would not have been able to without combining efforts."
