Call for entries

The New York chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) is now accepting entries for the 2000 Richard Kelly Grant. The educational grant, of up to $2,000, will be awarded to the applicant who best demonstrates an accomplishment and potential to make a contribution to the art or science of illumination. Anyone 35 years of age or younger at the time of submission, studying or working in the field of illumination in North America, is eligible. Submissions may be completed or proposed projects that represent innovative work in the use of light. Entries should include a proposal detailing how light is utilized in its most challenging, innovative, and resourceful way, and should also indicate how the recipient would use the grant to pursue his/her interest in light. A separate written description should also accompany all visual material. Entries must be received by June 16.
