ALTMAN LIGHTING ODEC LUMINAIRE ACCESSORY PACKAGE
Altman Lighting, Inc. recently launched an accessory package for its award-winning ODEC Outdoor Framing Projector, an outdoor luminaire with 15-35° zoom focus. Working with GAMProducts, Altman offers an internal douser to mechanically douse or dim the luminaire's 70W or 150W G12 CDM lamp. The package also includes a GAMProducts TwinSpin™ double pattern rotator for the architectural framing projector. This TwinSpin is available in an indexing and non-indexing version, and all are DMX controllable. All of these accessories work in conjunction with the luminaire's framing shutters and fixed pattern holder and still allow for full lens movement. The accessories drop into the water-tight luminaire that has an internal, switched accessory power outlet. All accessories are kept inside the luminaire and are protected by the unit's weather-tight seal. The ODEC luminaire is UL and cUL listed for wet locations.

ARTISTIC LICENCE JUMP-START
Jump-Start is a small, hand-held RDM and DMX512 programmer. As the new Remote Device Management (RDM) protocol gains acceptance, the DIP switches on the rear of moving lights will gradually disappear as RDM allows the console to patch the lights. But what if you need to address a light in the workshop, or you want to check the temperature sensor? This device plugs into the DMX connector and displays important information: start address, footprint, personality, sensors, temperature, voltage, lamp hours, etc. You can also plug it into the lighting rig and auto-patch all the lights. It can also ask the light to strike, douse, or self-test, or it can operate as a straightforward DMX tester. Individual channels can be set to a level, or they can ramp continuously. Channel settings can also be stored to memory. Talk time is around 12 hours, and standby time is about six months.

ROSCO LABS NEW ROSCOLUX COLORS
Twenty new Roscolux colors are available that are the direct result of collaboration with designers worldwide. Warm ambers, pinks, pale lavenders, blue-greens, water-blues, magentas and purples, and deep blues have been added. The Hamburg Frost range has been extended, as well, with the addition of Subtle Hamburg Frost. Four Supergel colors are being introduced in the Roscolux range. These colors include three Booster blues used for balancing light sources or simply as a blue tint. The Neutral Gray reduces light intensity without changing the color temperature of the lamp. Some colors are variations of other Roscolux colors, and a few utilize new dye technology to achieve brighter, yet deeper, colors.
