Theatre consulting and architectural lighting design firm Schuler & Shook Inc. announces the establishment of its new Dallas-Ft.Worth office, headed by senior consultant Jack P. Hagler, ASTC. Hagler, formerly with Pelton Marsh Kinsella, is a nationally recognized and highly regarded theatre consultant with extensive experience in the design and equipping of performing arts facilities.
The new office greatly expands the capabilities of the firm, which currently has offices in Chicago and Minneapolis. Robert Shook, partner in the Chicago office, expressed his enthusiasm for this expansion, saying, “Schuler & Shook is very fortunate to add Jack Hagler's experience and expertise to our firm. We are very excited about increasing our presence in the South and Southwest.”

Christie Lites announces the opening of its fourth Canadian location, Christie Lites Halifax (CLH). CLH is under the management of Alfred Larter, who has extensive experience in the entertainment industry: He has worked in the industry for close to two decades in various capacities, as stagehand, lighting technician, audio engineer, production manager, and in more recent years handling sales of both audio and lighting equipment.
The 2,000-sq.-ft. facility, in the Burnside Industrial Park area, will support the Christie Lites multi-office network. CLH is prepared to serve all stage lighting needs for Atlantic Canada. In addition, CLH will support the demands of the national touring and corporate markets.
