Suitable for providing general illumination in theatre/studio lobbies and hallways, the RLD6 Recessed LED Downlight features efficacies of up to 79 lumens per watt (LPW) and has a life rating of 50,000 hours (L70). The glare-free optical system comprises a highly reflective upper reflector inside the mixing chamber that controls beam-shaping and light distribution. The lower reflector provides deep lamp-to-lamp image cutoff of 46°. Assembled in the United States, this system combines to create a luminaire that produces low aperture brightness for comfortable light and a near-silent ceiling. The 1,200-lumen (18W) downlight provides performance similar to a 32W, a 42W, or two 26W compact fluorescent downlights, while the 2,000-lumen (30W) version provides performance similar to two 32W compact fluorescent or one 70W metal halide downlights.
