Choreographer MIKKO of elevenplay and designer and programmer Daito Manabe of Rhizomatiks collaborated on Shadow, a dance piece that employs three aerial drones equipped with spotlights to light a single dancer in novel ways, according to Laughing Squid. At a minute into the video, a three-way strobe effect begins. Light drone design and development is by Motoi Ishibashi and Tomoaki Yanagisawa, with light device development support from Philips Color Kinetics.
