The VLZ Spot, VLZ Profile, and VLZ Wash from Philips Vari-Lite all use the CMY-CTO color system with a 620W LED engine, in addition to dual fixed color wheels with linear control. Color shake and color wheel spin control have been added to every model. All fixtures in the new range produce an 8,000K color temperature with variable CTO adjustment. They can be frequency-tuned and are equipped with Gamma shift for cameras. The Spot model produces a 25,000-lumen output and features dual rotating and indexable gobo wheels, a three-facet linear prism, and 7º to 50º zoom range. The Wash, also with 25,000-lumen output, features three beam-shaping systems that can operate independently or together, as well as a set of four internal framing blades. The Profile fixture has a 24,000-lumen output and includes two gobo wheels, a continuously rotatable animation wheel, and an iris and four-blade framing system.
